Two held in UK manhunt, gunman still at large

Police in the UK hunting gunman Raoul Moat said today that they had also been dealing with a ``hostage situation''.

Police arrested two men, believed to be the hostages, who were found walking in Rothbury, Northumberland. They were held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

Detectives said Moat was still at large but a car he is believed to have been driving had been located in Rothbury and the ``net is closing'' on the gunman.
