A married couple suspected of spying on the United States have admitted they are Russian citizens who were using fake names.

The pair - known as Michael Zottoli and Patricia Mills - were arrested along with eight other suspects last Sunday.

An eleventh suspect arrested in Cyprus has disappeared after being granted bail.
