Turkey: 27 held in connection with bus bomb attack
Turkish police have detained 27 people for questioning over a bomb attack in Istanbul in which five people were killed, the state-run news agency said today.
A Kurdish militant group linked to autonomy-seeking Kurdish rebels claimed responsibility for yesterday’s attack on a bus which was carrying military personnel and their families. The dead included the 17-year-old daughter of an officer.
