Gazza to stay in hospital after crash

Former footballer Paul Gascoigne is expected to remain in hospital for several more days following a serious car crash, a hospital spokeswoman said today.

Passers-by feared the former World Cup star was dead when they went to give first aid at the scene of the crash on Sunday evening on Newcastle’s Quayside.
