Two held after girl, six, stabbed in chest

A man and a woman were being held on suspicion of attempted murder today after a six-year-old girl was stabbed in the chest, police in the UK said.

The girl was left seriously injured after the incident at an address in Guildford, Surrey, and was in a stable condition in hospital, Surrey Police said.
