The Austrian capital Vienna has been named as the best city in the world to live in.

The Austrian capital Vienna has been named as the best city in the world to live in.

It tops a list of 220 places ranked according to a range of factors including political stability, hospital services, transport, leisure and climate.

Dublin was ranked 26th, while London was the only British city to make the top 50, at number 39.

Here is the top 20 cities, according to the Mercer 2010 Quality of Living Survey.
