Thai police confiscate protest leaders' phones

Thai police said they have tightened security and confiscated mobile phones belonging to the leaders of protests that paralysed Bangkok for weeks.

The Thai capital was gripped with its worst political violence in decades during the “Red Shirt” occupation of downtown Bangkok, culminating in a military crackdown on Wednesday.
