Spanish deaths: Police interviewing mother and looking for British man

Spanish police are understood to be looking for a second person in connection with the deaths of two British children at a holiday resort.

The mother of the five-year-old girl and her one-year-old brother is still being questioned.

Reports claim they were suffocated in their room in the Hotel Miramar in the resort of Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava yesterday.

Journalist Ursula Errington, who is in Lloret de Mar, has reported that Spanish newspapers think police want to speak to someone else - a British man who was not a resident at the hotel.
