Two children found dead in Spanish hotel

Two British toddlers were found dead in a hotel room in a Spanish resort today.

Police were called to the hotel in Lloret de Mar, 50 miles north of Barcelona, at around 1pm Irish Time after the children’s mother rang them.

The Spanish Newspaper El Mundo said she rang after being unable to revive the children.

The cause of death was unknown, a police spokeswoman said.
