The union behind the British Airways cabin crew walk-outs is applying for permission to appeal against a ban on strike action.

The union behind the British Airways cabin crew walk-outs is applying for permission to appeal against a ban on strike action.

The Unite union has said: "It's a disgrace the vote for industrial action was overruled on a technicality at the High court yesterday."

The first of the walkouts was due to start last night.

Derek Simpson, joint general secretary of the Unite union, insists they followed the rules during the ballot process.
