EU President: Greek rescue talks 'on track'

European Union president Herman van Rompuy said today negotiations to begin a rescue package for debt-ridden Greece were “well on track” and he planned to hold a summit around May 10 for eurozone leaders.

“The negotiations are going on. They are well on track, and there is no question about restructuring of the debt,” Mr Van Rompuy said in Tokyo.
