UK extends flights ban until tomorrow morning

Hopes that flights in and out of the UK could recommence soon were dashed today when it was decided that the flights ban would stay in place until at least 1am tomorrow.

Making the ruling, air traffic control company Nats said conditions around the movement of the layers of the volcanic ash cloud over the UK “remained dynamic”.
