British politics to make history with TV debate

History will be made in UK politics tonight in the first of three live TV debates between the leaders of the three main British political parties that could change the course of the General Election.

The 90-minute debate will be bound by tightly-drawn rules which cover everything from the make-up of the audience to time limits on answers.
