Plane carrying Polish President crashes; 87 feared dead

It is being reported that a plane carrying Polish president Lech Kaczynski has crashed, with 87 people feared dead.

According to Reuters , the crash occurred on approach to Smolensk airport in western Russia. The plane was flying from Warsaw.
