Peru's Machu Picchu has reopened after being closed for two months following heavy rains.

The 15th century ruins are Latin America's most visited site.

It is estimated $1m in revenue was lost every day it was closed.

Late January saw floods and landslides, trapping some 4,000 tourists, many of whom had to be rescued with helicopters.
