Campaigners call for Pope's resignation

Human rights campaigners will protest outside Westminster Cathedral in London today, calling on the Pope to resign.

The pontiff is under increasing pressure, following claims he covered up incidents of sexual abuse by Catholic priests.

The protesters claim he should take responsbility for allegedy failing to ensure the priests were reported to the police.

The Pope held mass at the Vatican this morning for Palm Sunday.
