Israeli soldiers leave Gaza after fierce clash

Israel today withdrew its troops from Gaza after the fiercest fighting there in a year.

A military spokeswoman said troops used bulldozers to “flatten infrastructure used by terrorists to attack soldiers” before withdrawing.
