Facebook not against 'report' button 'in principle'

Facebook has said they not against having a "report abuse" button used by other social networking sites, in principle.

Bosses from the website have been meeting the British Home Secretary following the death of 17 year-old Ashleigh Hall who was murdered by a man she met on the site.

The panic button allows users to report suspect behaviour.

Facebook is now going to discuss the issue with child protection experts in the US.
