Nigeria's leader scraps Cabinet

Nigeria’s acting president dissolved the country’s Cabinet today just over a month after taking office.

The National Assembly voted Goodluck Jonathan into power last month and he had yet to make any big moves to shake up government.

President Umaru Yar’Adua, long troubled by health ailments, has not been seen publicly since November.

He was treated at a hospital in Saudi Arabia for a heart condition for three months and only recently returned to Nigeria.
