Father charged in river-plunge case
A father was remanded in custody today charged with the attempted murder of his children, who were rescued after a car plunged into the River Avon, a prosecutor said.
Christopher Grady, 41, of no fixed abode, appeared at Worcester Magistrates’ Court two days after Ryan and Gabrielle Grady were rescued from the River Avon in Evesham, Worcestershire, and airlifted to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
