World's tallest tower shuts lookout deck

The observation deck of the Burj Khalifa – the world’s tallest tower – has been unexpectedly shut down, little more than a month after it opened.

The Dubai skyscraper’s owner Emaar Properties blamed the closure on “unexpected high traffic”, but then added in a brief statement that “technical issues with the power supply” were being addressed.
