China today announced it is to build the world’s highest airport in Tibet.

China today announced it is to build the world’s highest airport in Tibet.

The 14,553ft altitude Nagqu Dagring Airport is expected to surpass Bamda Airport, also in Tibet, by 335ft, the official Xinhua News Agency said.
