FBI hold two over bomb plot
Two men were arrested today over an al-Qaida bomb plot targeting New York.
Adis Medunjanin and Zarein Ahmedzay were held as part of “an ongoing investigation” by the Joint Terrorism Task Force, the FBI said.
Medunjanin’s lawyer said the FBI seized his client’s passport yesterday.
Airport driver Najibullah Zazi has already been accused of getting al-Qaida training to build home-made bombs to attack New York.
Medunjanin, a Bosnian immigrant, and Ahmedzay, a US citizen, were both questioned by investigators last year.
