Jamaica to accept deported preacher
A Jamaican-born Muslim cleric who was jailed in Britain for inciting murder and racial hatred will be allowed into the Caribbean island because he has committed no crimes there, the government said today.
It is unclear when Sheik Abdullah el-Faisal, who has called for killing Americans, Hindus and Jews, might arrive in Jamaica, where he lived before departing for Africa early last year on a Jamaican passport, foreign affairs minister Kenneth Baugh said.
