Pakistan: Ex-minister killed as bomb hits car

A roadside bomb has hit a vehicle in Pakistan’s volatile north-west region, killing a former minister and his bodyguard, police said today.

Two others travelling in the car were critically injured in the attack, which happened in Hangu district, North West Frontier Province.
