Three skiers killed by avalanche

Three skiers have been killed by an avalanche in the French Alps.

Mountain police in the town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice say the three, skiing off-trail, were buried under an avalanche in the French ski station of Les Arcs.

Local media said one victim was a ski instructor. Their bodies were found yesterday.
