Abducted girl, six, reunited with mother
British youngster Nadia Fawzi, who was abducted by her father and taken to Libya, was reunited with her mother today after two years apart, police have confirmed.
Nadia, now aged six, was taken by her father, Fawzi Abuarghub, in May 2007, and denied all contact with her mother, Sarah Taylor, from Wigan, Greater Manchester.
In July, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown asked the Libyan leader, Colonel Gaddafi, for his help.
Greater Manchester Police said mother and daughter were reunited during a meeting in Tripoli earlier today.
