Spanish aid workers kidnapped

Three Spanish aid workers have been kidnapped in the desert nation of Mauritania.

Police said the three, two men and a woman, were travelling in a convoy delivering humanitarian aid when they were attacked by armed men on the road linking the capital Nouakchott to the northern port of Nouadhibou.
