Obama doesn't want to pass Afghan conflict to successor

US President Barack Obama has admitted he doesn't want his successor to inherit the Afghan conflict.

Mr Obama sais he is "very close" to a decision on boosting troop levels in the country and will make an announcement in the next few weeks.
