100,000 Italian women brand Berlusconi sexist
More than 100,000 Italian women have signed a petition saying they are offended by Premier Silvio Berlusconi after he made a sexist remark to an opposition politician.
Mr Berlusconi, already under fire for his dalliances with women, made the jibe during a call to a late-night talk show that featured Rosy Bindi, a 58-year-old former minister who dresses conservatively, wears glasses and has short, grey hair.
