Six survive Mediterranean plane crash

All six people aboard a light aircraft that plunged into the sea near Corsica have been found alive.

Rescue teams had spotted the Cessna in the waters near Porto yesterday and two survivors were evacuated by helicopter to a nearby hospital, the coastguard in the Mediterranean port of Toulon said.
