Parents of hanged eight-year-old 'arrested'

The parents of Charlotte Avenall, the eight-year-old found hanged in her bedroom at home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England, were arrested today in connection with her death, sources said.

Following her death, Nottinghamshire County Council's social services department said it would be reviewing the care and support it offered Charlotte and her family.
