A government official today said the death toll from yesterday’s earthquake on Indonesia’s Sumatra island has reached 467.

A government official today said the death toll from yesterday’s earthquake on Indonesia’s Sumatra island has reached 467.

Tugiyo Bisri of the Social Affairs Ministry’s crisis centre said 467 people are confirmed dead and 421 seriously injured after the 7.6 magnitude quake.
