Man held over helicopter robbery
One person has been detained over Wednesday’s Hollywood-style helicopter raid against a cash depot in Stockholm, Swedish police said.
Police spokeswoman Carolina Ekeus said the suspect is being questioned about the robbery but gave no further details.
Masked gunmen broke through a window on the roof of a G4S cash depot in southern Stockholm.
The robbers set off explosions inside the building and loaded bags of cash into the helicopter before taking off.
The company has not revealed how much money was stolen but has offered a seven million kronor (€685,000) reward for information leading to the capture of the bandits, suggesting it was many millions.
