Mao's grandson becomes youngest general

The only grandson of China’s revolutionary leader Chairman Mao has been made the youngest general in the People’s Liberation Army at the age of 39.

Mao Xinyu, a military academy scholar, is the son of Mao Zedong’s second son Mao Anqing, who died in 2007.
