Teen who attacked school wakes from coma

A teenager who stormed his school armed with an axe, knives and Molotov cocktails in an attack that injured nine students and a teacher has awoken from a medically induced coma, German prosecutors said today.

Senior public prosecutor Gudrun Lehnberger said the 18-year-old was still too critically ill to question him about Thursday’s attack.
