Pakistan says it has arrested a militant commander accused in the beheadings of troops in the Swat Valley.

Pakistan says it has arrested a militant commander accused in the beheadings of troops in the Swat Valley.

Army spokesman Colonel Akhtar Abbas said today that Sher Muhammad Qasab had been detained from an undisclosed location in the valley.

Qasab had a bounty of 10m rupees (€141,291) on his head.

The arrest is the third from the army’s list of 10 most wanted Swat militants.
