Obama condemns murder of anti-abortion protester

US President Barack Obama condemned the killing of an anti-abortion activist in Michigan as activists and others gathered for a vigil near the site where he was fatally shot.

Mr Obama called last week’s shooting of James Pouillon “deplorable” in a brief statement.
