Former Aussie PM home after hospital stay

Former Australian prime minister John Howard has returned home after two days in the hospital for a severe allergic reaction, it was confirmed today.

Opposition politician Tony Abbott said the 70-year-old Mr Howard, who was prime minister for 11 years before his party was swept from power in late 2007, was discharged this morning and was able to celebrate Father’s Day at home.
