Russia’s Supreme Court has ordered a further investigation into the killing of journalist and Kremlin critic Anna Politkovskaya.

The state-run RIA Novosti and ITAR-Tass news agencies say the court today reversed the ruling of a lower court that rejected a request by Ms Politkovskaya’s children for further investigation.
