Brazil crash probe could take more than a year

The inquiry into the crash of Air France Flight 447 could take at least a year and a half to reach a conclusion, the director of the French agency investigating the incident said today.

BEA director Paul-Louis Arslanian said he still does not know exactly where the plane went down or what caused the accident, three months after the flight from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil to Paris crashed into the Atlantic, killing all 228 people on board, including three Irish.
