Algarve rockslide hits beachgoers

At least three people were feared dead after a landslide at a tourist beach on Portugal’s Algarve today.

Another eight people were injured in the accident when part of a cliff collapsed and buried sunbathers at Maria Luisa beach in Albufeira.

One body has been found and rescuers are searching for two more missing people under the rubble.

Prime Minister Jose Socrates is heading to Albufeira to oversee rescue operations.
