64 feared dead in Russian power station blast

Hopes were fading today for 64 workers missing after an accident at Russia’s largest hydroelectric plant.

Divers scoured the near-freezing waters flooding the plant’s cavernous rooms but the owner said it was doubtful that any of the missing employees would be found alive.
