French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s office said today a French Embassy employee on trial in Iran has been freed from prison.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s office said today a French Embassy employee on trial in Iran has been freed from prison.

A statement says Mr Sarkozy has spoken with Nazak Afshar since her release.
