More than 40 people have been killed in landslides triggered by heavy rain in northern India, police said today.

More than 40 people have been killed in landslides triggered by heavy rain in northern India, police said today.

Paramilitary force commander S.M. Shamim said 20 bodies have been pulled from the debris after the landslide yesterday buried three remote villages in Uttarakhand state.
