Paraglider killed in mid-air collision

A paraglider has died and another is being treated for serious injuries after they collided in mid-air, emergency services in England said tonight.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said both men were airlifted to Birmingham’s Selly Oak Hospital after the accident on the Long Mynd in Shropshire at about 2.15pm today.
