Lightning kills nine at funeral in India

At least nine people were killed and 13 others seriously injured in lightning strikes in eastern India.

The victims, including three children, had just attended a funeral ceremony in the village in West Bengal’s Burdwan district yesterday. Eight people died on the spot while another died in hospital.
