Court postpones verdict in democracy leader trial

The Burmese court is expected to deliver a verdict in opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi’s trial on August 11, a government official has said today.

The verdict was scheduled to be delivered today. It was not immediately clear why the hearing was postponed.
