Irish holidaymakers to fly home following Spanish fires

A group of Irish holidaymakers is expected to fly home tomorrow after being caught up in wildfires in Spain.

The tourists were staying in the resort of Mojacar, when they had to be evacuated from their hotel on Thursday night.

They spent the night at a local gymnasium.

Thousands of firefighters have been battling the blazes which swept across southern Europe.
