World's oldest man dies at 113

Henry Allingham, the world’s oldest man, died today at the age of 113, his care home said.

Mr Allingham was the oldest surviving British serviceman from the First World War. He served with the Royal Naval Air Service during the Great War, before transferring to the Royal Air Force and serving at Ypres.
